Vancouver Cup 2024 Karate Championships

I.K.O.N. Vancouver Canada Branch, led by Shihan Tatsuji Nakamura, held the 2024 Vancouver Cup Karate Kata Championship.

Many dojo students participated in the tournament, including those who participated in the International Friendship Tournament 2024 held in Japan, and the venue was filled with excitement as it was held as a place to demonstrate the results of daily training.

The athletes put their heart into each and every movement and did their best to improve their level of perfection.

In addition, the kumite demonstration by Sasha Tadayoni 1st Dan and Mark Berg 2nd Dan, who participated in the world championships held in September, was applauded by the packed spectators.

The attitude of Shihan Tatsuji Nakamura, who is always valuing teaching kata, was reflected throughout the tournament, promoting the technical growth of the athletes and providing an opportunity to deeply root the spiritual aspects of karate, which can be said to be a great harvest.

After the tournament, the athletes praised each other for their good performance and renewed their motivation for their next goals. >> at I.K.O.N. Facebook
