In January 1984, Sosui Makoto Nakamura achieved an unprecedented milestone by capturing the World Championship title for the second time.

In December 2016, the I.K.O.N. was established. Since then, Daihyo Masanaga Nakamura has traveled extensively to help international members develop their Kumite skills.

The time is ripe for an organization with a deep-rooted tradition of excellence and a commitment to quality to hold its own World Tournament.

Sixteen female and thirty-two male fighters have been selected to be part of what promises to be a historic event with the themes of:

"Innovation" and "Creation."

In September 2024, let us open a new era in the world of Kyokushin!
